The Fine Print
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NoBull Marketing, LLC ("NoBull Marketing," "we," "us," or "our"), located in Winona, Texas, handles information when you visit nobullmarketing.com, contact us, or use the Digital Edition book checkout and delivery services.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to admin@nobullmarketing.com.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, law firm name, primary practice area, annual firm revenue range, billing address, order and support communications, and any separate choices you make about marketing texts or calls. The current book checkout automatically prepares and saves your required contact and firm answers and selected options once the required answers are valid and settled, before payment—even if you never pay. It does not wait for you to select Pay. Invalid, partial, or still-changing answers do not initiate this automatic preparation. We also retain historical submissions from the older select-Pay checkout flow, including incomplete or invalid answers, presented consent choices, and attempts that did not complete checkout or payment. These answers are not verified identity or proof of purchase; the separate operational submission record does not include addresses or Stripe-hosted payment details. Checkout preparation may separately include a shipping address when needed for a selected physical item.
- Purchase and delivery information: the edition selected, server-calculated subtotal, discounts, tax and total, Stripe transaction identifiers and status, order and entitlement records, delivery attempts, download outcomes, refunds, disputes, and support actions. Payment details are collected through Stripe-hosted payment elements; NoBull Marketing does not receive the full card number entered there.
- Website and attribution information: page and funnel events, approximate technical request information such as IP address, browser or device information and timestamps, referring site, public landing-page path, UTM campaign values, permitted advertising click identifiers, and a random per-tab session identifier. The checkout rejects sensitive values from attribution fields.
- CRM and appointment information: if the relevant integrations are enabled, contact details, consent choices, tags, funnel status, and appointment activity may be synchronized with our customer relationship management and scheduling systems.
Browser storage, cookies, and analytics
The site uses browser local storage to remember sanitized first- and latest-touch campaign attribution and session storage to support a visit, checkout recovery, idempotency, and secure access handoff. A random session identifier renews after inactivity. Secure book delivery uses a short-lived, HttpOnly, same-site cookie after an emailed access capability is exchanged.
Published sites may use Umami analytics, and the book funnel records limited first-party events needed to measure and operate the buyer journey. When configured, book pages load Meta Pixel to measure page views, purchases, and bookings. We use Mouseflow session recording on public marketing pages, including book checkout, to understand how visitors use the site and identify usability issues. Recording may capture page content, clicks, scrolling, mouse movements, and personal information entered into checkout and contact fields. These first-party fields are not masked or excluded by our page code; Stripe-hosted card fields are separate from our page. Purchase or offer tokens in the page URL may also be accessible to the recording script. The optional SMS marketing choice at checkout is separate from session recording.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the site; calculate an authoritative order total; process and reconcile payment; provide receipts, access, downloads, resends, refunds, dispute handling, and support; prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions; understand campaign and funnel performance; maintain business and legal records; and communicate with you.
We use automatically saved book checkout answers and selected options to prepare checkout and support recovery, including when payment is not completed. We use separately retained submissions, including historical incomplete attempts, for checkout support and troubleshooting. Saving alone does not charge you or enroll you in marketing. Retaining answers or recording a consent choice does not independently authorize outreach.
Optional marketing texts and calls are based on separate choices presented at checkout and are not required to buy the book. You may reply STOP to marketing texts and may ask us to stop marketing calls. Transactional messages about an order or requested support may still be sent where permitted.
How information is shared
We share information only as reasonably needed with service providers that help us operate the services, such as Stripe for payment processing and tax calculation, hosting and private file-storage providers, Umami and, when enabled, Mouseflow for analytics and session recording, Meta for book-page advertising measurement, email-delivery providers, and—when configured—CRM, scheduling, and communications providers. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and security, investigate fraud, complete a business transaction, or with your direction. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Whether a disclosure is legally considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising depends on the activity and applicable law. When configured, Meta Pixel can send book-page and conversion events to Meta for advertising measurement.
Retention
Automatically saved book checkout records, including unpaid preparations and selected options, and separately retained submission records, including historical incomplete or invalid contact and firm answers and bounded attempt observations, are retained indefinitely with no automatic expiry or purge for checkout support and troubleshooting. Privacy requests and legally required deletion handling still apply.
For other information, we retain it for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including delivery and support, transaction reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal and accounting obligations, consent and suppression records, and dispute resolution. Different records may have different retention periods.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including Stripe-hosted payment collection, restricted private book storage, expiring access capabilities, server-side authorization, and limits on data accepted by public endpoints. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with you, or opt out of marketing communications, by emailing admin@nobullmarketing.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by law. Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers NoBull Marketing, you may have additional rights, including appeal or authorized-agent rights.
Children
The site and paid Digital Edition are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
External sites and changes
Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites' notices. We may update this Policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version and effective date here and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
Current book checkout saving
The current book checkout automatically prepares and saves your required contact and firm answers and selected options once the required answers are valid and settled, before payment—even if you never pay. It does not wait for you to select Pay. These checkout records are retained without automatic expiry; privacy requests and legally required deletion handling still apply. Saving alone does not charge you, enroll you in marketing, or independently authorize outreach. Optional SMS consent and any marketing-call permission are separate.
Select-Pay submission evidence and validated preparation records remain separate from the partial drafts described below. Historical submission descriptions in the policy above do not describe the new draft collection boundary or establish that a buyer selected Pay.
Partial book checkout drafts
On book checkout pages, first-party draft collection may save the latest name, email, phone, law firm, practice-area and revenue-range answers and observed optional choices while you edit, before submission or payment, even if answers are incomplete or invalid. This Privacy Policy is available through the checkout footer. Drafts support checkout operations and troubleshooting; they are not verified identity, a purchase, an abandoned-order determination, or permission to contact you. We do not automatically restore these retained answers into your browser.
Retained drafts have no automatic expiry. Newer saved answers replace older draft answers; this is not keystroke history. Drafts exclude shipping and payment details and remain separate from submitted evidence, validated checkout preparations, financial records, optional SMS consent or marketing-call permission, and technical visit history or Mouseflow visual recording. Recording a choice in a draft does not grant marketing permission, enroll you, or independently authorize outreach.
Delivery is best-effort: browser restrictions, interruption or blocked requests can leave gaps, and no save is guaranteed. For access or deletion requests, use the privacy-request contact process in this policy or contact NoBull through the site contact form. We verify the requester's authority and handle applicable privacy obligations, legally required deletion and permitted legal retention. This clarification does not change the policy's approval metadata.
Public site technical visit history
We collect first-party technical observations across this public website, including visits that do not submit a form or buy. These can include anonymous visit and page references, fixed page and control categories, field presence and validation outcomes without the answers themselves, coarse device/browser/source categories, screen and viewport information, request timing, and sanitized errors and lifecycle outcomes. This technical recording does not include submitted answers, identifying details, card data, raw errors or sensitive URL contents. These observations do not establish payment, identity, marketing permission or entitlement.
Technical history has a 90-day retention period, with non-customer collection-health totals retained for 365 days. Collection has capacity and delivery limits; browser restrictions, interruption or blocked scripts can leave gaps. Existing checkout answers and financial records have separate retention described above. Mouseflow supplies visual recording separately under the policy above; this technical history is not a first-party video or DOM recorder.
